X-CHARGE helps you install and test their software at your store. Then, we help you configure both softwares so you can start processing credit cards right away.

Our Inventek POS application sends a message to X-CHARGE either by an internet or dial-up connection.
X-CHARGE then, returns the results to the Inventek POS application and that's it!

Easy, Low Cost Setup
X-CHARGE offers a complete credit card processing solution. As an Inventek POS user, you are entitled to install their card approval software free of charge.

Single Receipt for your Customers
No longer will you have to issue an Inventek POS receipt and a separate credit card receipt. This will give you a more professional and economical solution.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a credit card swiper?
Yes. Although you can manually enter the credit card number and expiration date using only the Inventek POS software, this action may introduce errors, slow down the process and cost you more. Unlike credit cards that are swiped using a swiper, X-CHARGE will extract a little more money for the transaction for the ones that are manually processed.

Do I need a special printer?
Not necesarilly. The Inventek POS software will print a credit card receipt on the Epson receipt printer that comes with your POS.

Do I need a Pin Pad?
No. If you swipe a debit card and it has a Visa, Master Card or American Express logo, the Inventek POS software will detect this fact and charge it as a credit card transaction.

Are there setup fees through X-CHARGE?
There are NOT any setup fees for the typical installation through X-CHARGE; however, if you wish to process your transactions over the internet instead of a dial-up phone line, then there may be an additional setup fee incurred by you from X-CHARGE.

How long does the authorization through X-CHARGE take?
Consider the following steps involved:

1. You contact X-CHARGE
2. X-CHARGE sends you a form to fill out
   (you could do this step over the phone)
3. X-CHARGE sends you a Merchant Account application
4. X-CHARGE sends you a welcome package which includes the software
5. You, then, install the X-CHARGE software on your computer and call them to setup an appointment for testing. The X-CHARGE program can be tested without the Inventek POS application, they have all of their own windows for processing cards on a standalone basis. This makes the testing and setup of their software a lot simpler.

The process can go along pretty quickly.

X-CHARGE is responsive to phone calls (24-hours a day, 7-days a week operation hours), but we suggest you plan for 2 calendar weeks of time to allow for scheduling conflicts, missed calls, etc.
